Kerosene is a great option for heaters and lanterns which are safe to operate indoors. There are some time tested, and proven, options for log by and heat indoors.
IsoButane is a mix of butane and propane, and is great for camping stoves and other camp cooking options, which could also be used indoors in an emergency. MSR Pocket Rocket 2 camp stove.
Wood, can be used for fireplaces, wood burning stoves, fire pits outside, campfires, etc. it can provide heat, and cooking opportunities. It’s soothing and calming as well.
