Top 4 Vegetables We Would Choose for Survival Gardening | Guten Yardening

If we had to pick four vegetables for a survival garden, the choices would be difficult, but in this video, we tell you our choices based on nutritional content, shelf life, ease of growing and time to maturity, and taste and versatility.

Here at Guten Yardening, we are always trying to maximize our growing space and our zone 5 gardening season. We think that these vegetables that we chose today do both of those things.

We also believe that these vegetable choices are some of the most nutritious and valuable as parts of our diet.

As food shortages and supply chain issues increase (along with the need for prepping), we are encouring everyone to become more self sufficient, and we hope that this video inspires you to consider which vegetables you would grow.
